Frederick married Charlotte Bell, daughter of John Bell and Elizabeth Phillips, on 18 Sep 1873 in Brighton. (Charlotte Bell was born in 1851 in Green Ponds, Tasmania and died on 23 Mar 1891 in Hobart.)
